Tlingit Legacy: Rich in Community, Family, and Strength

Cape Fox Corporation (CFC)’s mission is to support our Shareholders. The Cape Fox Cultural Foundation offers workshops for the community to advance and learn cultural crafts and traditional Tlingit techniques.

Community Events

The Cape Fox Cultural Foundation was established in 2018 as a nonprofit organization. Its main mission is to provide educational services to the public to preserve and support our Tlingit heritage, culture, and the future of Cape Fox communities and the Southeast Alaska region.

We provide several unique and focused programs and services to help disadvantaged or struggling members of Southeast Alaska become thriving individuals in their families, the community, and society. We also offer regular workshops throughout the year at the Richard Shields Sr Building in Saxman, designed to focus on preserving our extensive history, unique language, bold art forms, and oratory storytelling.
